Workplace Policy

Welcome to Devsort, a leading software house specializing in data science, Quality Assurance, and Web development services. Our company values its employees as the driving force behind our success. This comprehensive work policy outlines our commitment to a balanced, flexible work environment supporting our team members and the company’s goals.

Hybrid Work Model

At Devsort, we understand the importance of flexibility and its benefits to our employees’ productivity and work-life balance. We have adopted a hybrid work model that combines both in-office and remote work options. This approach enables employees to choose a work arrangement that suits their needs while ensuring collaboration and efficiency within the team.

Office and Remote Work

  • Employees can work remotely from our office premises, as agreed upon with their supervisors.
  • In-office work is encouraged for close collaboration, brainstorming sessions, and team meetings.
  • Remote work is allowed for tasks that can be effectively completed from any location.

Work Hours and Expectations

  • Our core working hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (PKT), during which employees are expected to be available for communication and collaboration.
  • We believe in delivering quality work rather than counting hours, allowing for a results-driven approach.
  • Managers and team members collaborate to set clear expectations and goals for projects and tasks.

Leave Policy

  • Devsort recognizes the importance of a healthy work-life balance. Employees are entitled to 18 paid leave days per year.
  • We understand that unforeseen situations may arise, and we offer additional paid leave for severe needs, such as medical emergencies or family responsibilities.
  • Employees must follow the established leave request process and notify their supervisors as early as possible to request leave.

Flexible Work Arrangements

  • Devsort supports flexible work arrangements to accommodate personal commitments while maintaining productivity.
  • Flexible work hours can be discussed with supervisors and adjusted as long as they align with team and project requirements.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Effective communication is crucial for successful teamwork. We encourage open and transparent communication among team members and across departments.
  • Regular team meetings, virtual catch-ups, and collaborative tools foster effective collaboration, regardless of the work location.

Code of Conduct

  • All employees are expected to adhere to Devsort’s code of conduct, which promotes professionalism, respect, and ethical behavior within the workplace.
  • Discrimination, harassment, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

Security and Confidentiality

  • Data security and client confidentiality are paramount at Devsort.
  • Employees are required to follow security protocols, handle sensitive information responsibly, and protect company and client data.

Continuous Learning

  • We encourage a culture of constant learning and development.
  • Employees can access resources, training programs, and opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Devsort’s thriving work environment is built on trust, flexibility, and mutual respect. This work policy reflects our commitment to providing our employees with the support they need to excel while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Thank you for being an integral part of our team!
