About Umair

Umair Hassan is Director of Engineering at Devsort, where he leads the engineering organisation across client-facing product builds, internal tooling, and technical delivery. He is responsible for software architecture decisions, engineering standards, and the end-to-end execution of development projects from initial scoping through to production deployment.

Umair works closely with Muhammad Asim on project planning and client engagement, translating technical requirements into engineered solutions across web applications, mobile platforms, and backend systems. His engineering leadership spans the full delivery lifecycle — from architecture review and sprint planning to code review and production operations.

At Devsort, engineering quality is not separated from domain knowledge. Umair oversees projects that span regulated and unregulated sectors — from consumer-facing applications to clinically-informed software where data integrity and traceability are non-negotiable requirements.
